The issue of Visual disability is worth exploring because sense of vision is significant. In addition, a plethora of students do not have equal opportunity of learning because of visual disability. This therefore hinders their progress academically. Technology gives students an equal opportunity to learn as students without any vision impairments. This means that students can access textbooks through audio or Braille. Technology keeps these students interested and they are likely to engage more in class. Moreover, technology allows visually impaired students to continue learning even when they are at home. As a result, their performance at school is likely to improve. The school performance as a whole will improve if the learning needs of visually impaired students are met (Braille institute, 2021).
