Boikokobetso experiences a new chapter, from earning a salary straight from University to becoming a wife and a mother. Her husband is her high school boyfriend.
Issues of mental health play a role between Lerato and Mosa, who also happen to be Boikokobetso and Thabisang’s friends. They had been in a toxic relationship : one commits suicide while the other’s mental health took a toll on him. Mosa is hospitalized for his mental wellness.
Resitsitsoe’s businesses get slowed down due to bribe made to the Ministry of Infrastructure. Mr Seroto, who is later investigated and Resitsitsoe is reinstated into business with vast opportunities, as the publicity has made him famous.
The birth of ‘Mabophelo’s son brings the family together and has ‘Mabonolo (Resitsitoe’s wife) contemplating a second child as Bonolo was ready to play the sibling role. ‘Mathabisang is forced to face her past in order to allow her grandchild to be loved and protected by her descendants.
